8 Common Problems In The Use Of Circular Saw Blades

This article mainly lists 10 common problems in the use of circular saw blades. And to find the causes of their problems and give solutions.

1. Uneven wear on both sides of the cutter head

Cause: saw blade tilt cutting; both sides of the water are not the same, one side of the water is not enough.

Solution: Check the saw blade tilt; check the cooling water system.

2. Base body and cutter head combination parts wear

Cause: The material to be cut is very wear-resistant, and the cutting debris is entrapped in the cutting slot and cannot be discharged.

Solution: Use protective teeth in the special position of the substrate, and use a larger pressure cooling water stream to enhance the chip discharge effect.

3. Saw blade deflection

Reason: the cut material debris is interspersed in the cutting slit causing uneven force on the body; the flange diameter is too small or the flange diameter on both sides is inconsistent; there is a foreign body interspersed between the saw blade and the flange; it is not correctly installed.

Solution: clean up the debris and strengthen the effect of chip removal; adjust or replace the flange; according to the instructions for correct installation.

4. Saw blade out of round

Reason: Shaft wear causes the saw blade center hole and spindle clearance to be large or incorrectly installed.

Solution: Replace the worn shaft or repair the center hole.

5. Tool headwear too fast

Reason: The blade bond is too soft (for the material to be cut); insufficient cooling water; insufficient power caused by the loose drive belt or low voltage or improper speed; the saw blade is not perpendicular to the material to be cut.

Solution: Select the saw blade with a harder bonding agent according to the material to be cut; check the cooling water system to make sure the water pump is running properly; make sure the power supply voltage; check the spindle flange to make sure the saw blade is perpendicular to the equipment; check the rotational speed of the saw blade.

6. Blade head breakage

Reason: In the cutting process of the cut material sliding will be cutter head twisted off; so that the cutter head by a heavy blow; flange wear can not fix the saw blade, resulting in distortion of the saw blade; spindle wears caused by the saw blade out of round so that the saw blade by a large impact; overheating; saw blade by a violent impact.

Solution: Cut firmly fixed cut material; replace the flange on both sides; replace the worn spindle; check the cooling water; moving equipment or cut material should avoid impact on the saw blade.

7. Can not cut

Reason: saw blade bonding agent is too hard; insufficient power can not make the saw blade cut properly; saw blade is not applied enough cutting pressure; saw blade line speed is too high.

Solution: choose to use a softer bonding saw blade; check the drive belt, voltage, and motor; make sure that the use of sufficient and not too much cutting pressure; according to the equipment manual to choose the corresponding diameter of the matching saw blade.

8. Knife head lost
